Geodrill is not only socially responsible but environmentally conscious as well. The company recognizes the adverse impact on families and students in rural West Africa who have limited or no source of power. Therefore, Geodrill purchased 500 solar lamps from this local business (ERE) to promote and distribute in these communities. Similarly, solar lamps are aimed at reducing the use of Kerosene, which is considered an unhealthy option as it can lead to diseases of the throat, chest and lungs.
